PAPER AND POSTER PRESENTATION

               Paper and Poster presentation competition


                                                           

Competition is open for all PGs, Internees and UGs of Ayurveda Colleges of India. (Excluding 1st year and 2nd year PG scholars of VPSV Ayurveda College, Kottakkal)

* After registration, interested candidates should submit abstract for Paper and Poster presentations (Maximum 300 words) by email.

GUIDELINES:-
1. The candidates for the poster presentation and paper presentation will be selected after evaluation of the abstract.

2. The assessment will be made by a panel of judges and their decisions will be final.

3. Language for paper and poster presentation competition will be english.

4. Selected candidates will be informed by email.

5. The abstract for the paper and poster presentation competition should be prepared on any topic related to AYURVEDA*

Last date for the submission of abstract  :  20th May, 2019
Last date for the submission of poster and full paper presentation : 31st May, 2019
Last date for the submission of final presentation templates : 7th June, 2019


POSTER PRESENTATION
1. Dimensions of teh poster - 120cm(h) x 90cm (w)

2. Poster orientation - Portrait

3. Languages - English and Sanskrit.

4.Poster title - Arial (font size 25)

5. Body text - (Arial font size 20) with single spacing.

6. The poster should contain salient aspects of the work. Photographs, pictures and graphs can be used liberally.

7. Each poster presenter will be alloted 2-3 minutes for short introduction followed by discussion of 2-3 minutes.

8.  evaluation will be based on oral description and poster presentation done by the participant.

9. Poster should be made with eco-friendly material.

PAPER PRESENTATION
1. Presentation should be in power point pattern.

2. Each paper presenter will be alloted 5 minutes  for short introduction followed by discussion for 2 minutes.

As a curtain raiser of this event, various competitions like quiz competition, poster presentation and paper presentation for

 the UGs, Interns and PGs are organised on 17th June 2019.

The rules and regulations for the competitions are given below.

                             

               Quiz competition- rules and regulations

1.Competition is open for all UGs and Internees of Ayurveda Colleges of India.
2.Each team should have 2 participants.
3.No.of teams from a college is not restricted.
4.A priliminary elimination round will be conducted prior to the main competition.
5.Topics dealt in the quiz will be- Charaka Samhitha (chikitsa sthana)

SAMAVARTANA 2019 - PUSHYA

                 SAMAVARTANA 2019 

In a fast pacing world offering limitless possibilities, health is definitely pivotal in determining personal, social and national acheivements. Diseases hinder productivity both at personal and national level. Maintenance can be achieved by prevention and reversal of a disease process.

Ayurveda introduces RASAYANA as a bi-directional tool for the same.

SAMAVARTANA 2019 aims at the revival of the concepts and the practise of rasayana. With many apprehensions and confusions existing regarding the practise of rasayana, the seminar aims to pave way for a better outlook and clinical application of rasayana.

The event christened as "PUSHYA" - NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON RASAYANA will witness brain storming scientific sessions by eminent subject experts. This event also provides an oppurtunity to exhibit skills by being a  part of quiz competition, paper and poster presentations.
